Coffee Anyone?

Well Saturday was another fun coffee house at the Library. Looking forward to doing this again in the spring when the renovations are complete. Thanks to TAG for all of their help setting up and putting on an awesome event. Happy Holidays!

It's official. I checked it on the iBistro. Volume 1 of Bleach, "Strawberry and the Soul Reapers", is the hottest title in the Library. I love you Ichigo!

Gamers in Our Library!?

Interested TAG members met last night to discuss some further details about upcoming video game tournaments at the Library. Looks like we're going with a Wii, and that games like Guitar Hero, Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. will be featured. I'm excited, are you? I'll keep you updated as we work out more details!

Welcome and Hello

Welcome to the official weblog of the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library's Teen Advisory Group.

TAG acts as a resource to the Children & Youth Services staff at the Library in areas of collection development (that's picking out books) and programming. We meet the first Monday of every month in the Library Auditorium at 7:00 pm. Volunteering with TAG counts toward secondary school community service hours. And of course we always make sure to provide delicious snacks.
